Epiphany Evangelical Lutheran Church of Elmhurst welcomes all people, to hear the Gospel of God's grace and truth. Members of the Body of Christ accept that the canonical Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and the authoritative source and norm of the proclamation, faith, and the life of this church (ELCA Constitution, Chapter 2). We acknowledge that no one is without sin and so all of us come before God in need of forgiveness and repentance.

For if we claim we are without sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But if, instead, we confess our sins and repent, the Holy Spirit will cleanse us from all our unrighteousness. For God so loves us that he gave his only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, to pay the price for our salvation through his suffering, death, and resurrection (John 3). By accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, we become dead to sin and reborn into lives given over to His service (Romans 6). What an awesome love is this.
